Why How to buy a house course exists

Buying a first home means making the largest financial decision of your life while learning an entirely new vocabulary — escrow, PMI, contingencies, underwriting. Most of the material out there is either a sales funnel or a wall of jargon.

This project is a straightforward course instead. Ten modules follow the same order you'll experience: getting financially ready, understanding mortgages, shopping for a home, making an offer, surviving inspections and underwriting, closing, and settling into ownership.

What we don't do

  • We don't sell your information or hand you off to lenders or agents.
  • We don't offer financial, legal, or tax advice — we explain how things work.
  • We don't gate lessons behind a paywall. Accounts exist only to save your progress.

How to use the course

Work through it in order if you're early in the process, or jump to the module that matches where you are today. Each lesson takes a few minutes and ends with the key takeaways.
